Ingredients,
Groats, 500 g
Split peas, 100 g
Onion, pepper, salt, oil, and turmeric, as required
Directions
Pour 2 glasses of water in a pot over the heat. Wash groats and rinse nicely. First stir in split peas and after 1 hour add in groats along with chopped onions, spices and salt. Let it cook well and serve!
Sour Broishin
Ingredients,
Groats, 500 g
Apricot, 200 g
Split peas, 100 g
Vinegar, 1 cup
Onion, pepper, salt, oil and turmeric, as required
Procedure
First fry the chopped onion in a frying pan. Pour 3 bowls of water into a pot and stir in fried onion. Also add in groats, apricots, and split peas as well as seasoning, salt, turmeric and desired spices. Once done, pour in vinegar and serve in medium bowls.
